Oval Medical expands with two new hires

Monday, 18 July 2011 -The autoinjector development company Oval Medical Technologies ltd, has today announced further expansion with two new appointments of a Programme Manager and a Design Engineer.

Alison Kwok joins the company in the capacity of Programme Manager from Owen Mumford where she held the post of Technical Project Manager for the past three years. In her career Alison has been responsible for the industrialisation of processes used for the manufacture of new drug delivery devices and managing large multifunction and international teams. Prior to this she spent eight years at GlaxoSmithKline gaining a diverse range of experience in R&D and Global Manufacturing.

Ralph Lamble has joined Oval as a Design Engineer from Origin Product Design Ltd., where he worked as a Design Consultant for over seven years. He was also involved with expanding the company and managing internal teams on projects for several major international pharma companies. Ralph will support the product development of Oval’s novel autoinjector technology through design to concept generation.

“We are delighted that Alison and Ralph have joined the team” said Oval’s CEO Matthew Young. “They will both assist in driving the production process forward as Alison will be vital in facilitating any current and future projects at Oval, and Ralph’s experience as a designer will help to enhance our product designs. It is looking to be a very exciting and busy time at Oval over the coming months and bringing Alison and Ralph on board will provide an increased level of support to our ongoing projects.’
