Three new employees appointed
27th July 2010 – Today, Oval Medical is pleased to announce that the on-going success of developing its revolutionary autoinjector and syringe technologies, has lead to the company’s second expansion less than a year after the company was established.</p>
As of July 2010, three new members have joined the team adopting a variety of roles within the company.
Martyn Young has been appointed a permanent role as Director of Operations. After working for nine and a half years with Owen Mumford as General Manager of their Drug Delivery Manufacturing Division, Martyn has joined Oval to focus on manufacturing and product development.
Louisa Harvey has assumed the role of Business Development and Marketing Manager. Having previously worked for Smith and Nephew and Napp Pharmaceuticals for six years in formulation through to Marketing Communications, Louisa will work in conjunction with the commercial team alongside Director Catherine Beech to generate and facilitate the growing interest in Oval Medical.
Lastly, Tom Bates joined Oval Medical in July in an administrative capacity as Office Manager. Tom’s experience stems from working throughout his university career, allowing him to undertake aspects of Human Resource Management, as well as supporting the business development and commercial team.
